A short story about me!
I’m Liz, the creator behind lizcreatez!
I truly appreciate you taking the time to read a little about who I am and why I create what I do. It’s important to me that you understand the heart behind my work, because this business is not just about selling art — it’s about connection. I don’t simply create pieces for people to purchase. I create because I love it deeply, and I hope that when you’re here, you find something that truly speaks to you — whether it’s an art print, an original piece, or a handmade jewelry design.
Every single item on this website is made by my own hands, with love, patience, and intention.

Hi there, thank you for visiting my page!
Why do I make the art I make?
I get that it may be a little confusing when you look at my artwork because some pieces are a bit darker… and then my jewelry is so vibrant and happy! But that’s just part of who I am — the full spectrum of emotions, expressed in different ways.
Growing up, I always knew I loved painting. I was drawn to color, texture, and especially dried flowers. Creating felt natural to me — it was where I felt most like myself.
For a long time, though, I believed I was “different” or “weird,” and that belief quietly affected my confidence. I didn’t always feel comfortable expressing my thoughts out loud. So instead of speaking them, I painted them. I transformed my emotions into something visual — something tangible.
I poured sadness, darkness, questions, and even the emotions of others onto canvas. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just creating art — I was processing life.
I found beauty in painting the quiet, heavy moments. I truly believe there is beauty in our silence — in the feelings we carry but don’t always say out loud. And through my art, I give those feelings a voice.
So, if you’ve made it to my website, I want to thank you once again for visiting. 💛
If you’ve found a piece that speaks to you or resonates in any way, it truly makes me so happy to know that something I created has meaning for you. That connection — between my art and your experience — is exactly why I do what I do.
